This issue's tip: clean the lint filter, every load

It takes seconds. A clean filter helps clothes dry faster, saves energy and lowers the risk of a fire. Once in a while, wash the filter screen with warm soapy water if it looks clogged, and let it dry fully before putting it back.

Stain explained: coffee

Blot, flush from the back with cold water, pretreat with liquid detergent and wash. Check before drying. Heat sets it.
